Scout Camp 2011: Michael's Whitsett Adventures!

Michael's Boy Scout Troop went to Whitsett for Boy Scout Camp this year. He had such a good time. Unfortunately, he only took 2 or 3 pictures, only one of which was of him eating a fish he caught.

Scout Camp.

Michael is at Scout Camp in Catalina this year. He left yesterday with his troop. He was excited to go, and we are excited for him, even though we miss him. We can't wait for him to come home, but we hope he has a great time while there.

Boy Scout Overnight

Michael went on his first Boy Scout Overnight with the Young Men's program on Friday (May 29). He and David went with their troop to a campground north of Gorman and had a great time!

Today is Michael's 12th birthday! Here are a few pictures of him through the years. (If you'd like to see more, I posted an album on Facebook.) Michael has an interview with the Bishop tonight and hopefully will be ordained this Sunday.

Michael's Camping Trip with John

Michael's 11 year-old Scout troop took a camping trip February 27-28, and performed a service project at Placerita Canyon Park and Nature Center. His Scout leader was kind enough to email me some photos which I'm sharing with you.
