Best Dinner Rolls Ever!

One of my dear friends, Jenna Livingston, makes the best homemade rolls I've ever tasted.  She was kind enough to teach the RS sisters how to make them.  I tried them out today, and they tasted as good as hers.  Thanks, Jenna!

I didn't watch the first ones as closely as I should, and they were a little more done, but they were still yummy.  Even with the "claws" hanging off.

The second tray turned out better.  I remembered to turn the ends down, so they didn't become claws.

AJ's GATE Night

AJ made a "GATE" project about volcanoes.  We went to the school district's GATE night and watched it.  It was great!

Here's a video of his actual project, which is a powerpoint presentation.

Pretty Sunset

AJ had a GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) night at one of the schools in our district.  On our way in, I noticed the most beautiful sunset, and I had to snap a picture.

Disneyland with Friends

During Spring Break, one of my favorite people in the world came to visit with her kids.  We spent the day, Thursday, at Disneyland.  Here are some pictures.

(David and Michael won this "front of the line pass" for getting over 11,000,000 on Power City in Innoventions.)

Family Easter Egg Hunt 2013

A few years ago, we started having family Easter egg hunts in the backyard.  This year, we didn't do it until after Easter, but the boys still had a good time.

Ward Easter Egg Hunt

Every year, our ward (congregation) has an Easter Breakfast/Egg Hunt.  I didn't take very many pictures this year, but here are a few.

AR Assembly

AJ has been working very hard this year to exceed his AR (Accelerated Reader) goal by 50% for each trimester this year and earn a trophy.  He's done it 2 of 3 semesters that last two years, but he is determined to do it all three trimesters for his sixth grade year.

He's done it twice so far, and I have every confidence he will reach his goal.  Way to go, AJ!
