David is in Cambodia!

My son, David, is serving a 2 year volunteer mission teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Vietnamese language in the Cambodia Phnom Penh mission (which includes Vietnam).  He reported to the Provo MTC (Missionary Training Center) on August 15, 2012, and he left for Cambodia on Tuesday, October 30, 2012.  He arrived safely in Cambodia on the morning of November 1, 2012.

Here are some pictures from his mission president, David C Moon.

Youth Basketball

Michael played basketball with the young men from our ward.  They had a lot of fun and even won a couple of games.

Girls' Night Out!

To celebrate a recent joyous event, my friends and I took a quick trip to Disneyland!  We went pretty late at night (arriving at 9:00 pm) and stayed for a couple of hours.  We had a blast!

Star Award

For the third year in a row, AJ received a "Star" award from the school district honoring him for his high standardized test scores.

Last Pack Meeting EVER!!!

AJ received his Webelos badge at the last pack meeting, which is the last pack meeting we will ever attend as parents of a cub scout.  Wow!  Our kids are growing up!

Radiator Racers

We finally went on the new Cars Land ride, Radiator Springs Racers, a couple of weeks ago.  Here's the photographic evidence.
