Our Trip to Utah, Part 6: Temple Square

I took the boys to Temple Square in Salt Lake City on Tuesday. We went to both the North and South Visitor Centers (although we spent less time in the South Visitor Center, because the boys were getting tired and hungry) and the Tabernacle where the Mormon Tabernacle Choir practices and performs.

We also walked around the Church Office Building and enjoyed the beautiful garden and statues outside. The weather was gorgeous that day, and we had a great time. If you would like to find out more about the Visitor Center, or to find one near you, please visit http://www.lds.org/. If you would like to know more about our Savior Jesus Christ, please visit JesusChrist.lds.org or http://www.mormon.org/.

I had not seen the Temple Square Visitor Centers since they had been remodelled years ago. I was quite impressed by the emphasis on humanitarian service.

Whenever my family visited the Temple Square Visitor Center, we would take a picture of the family in front of the Christus. Unfortunately, my boys would not cooperate and stand together in front of the statue, but I was able to get them separately.
