Vacation, Day 5: San Diego Zoo, Part 1:
The Animals
We visited the San Diego, CA Zoo on Monday, July 12. None of us had visited the San Diego Zoo before, and all our friends said we should go. It was great! It was a large zoo with plenty of trees and lots of "natural" exhibits. Gone are the days of cement enclosures devoid of plant life.
Here are some pictures of the animals. I think my favorite shot is the one of the flamingos. They always seem to photograph well, regardless of the zoo we attend. Perhaps they are one of the most photogenic animals?
